¡Ü Introduction to Collection is a collection of Dasan

Jeong Yak-yong's "Dasanmunseon" is a commentary on "Dongguk Myeongwoldo," a Korean scripture written by Jeong Yak-yong, a civil official and scholar of the Joseon Dynasty. Dasan Munseon is a book annotated and explained by each unit of Dongkuk Myeongwoldo, and if Dongguk Myeongwoldo contains Korean geography, history, and legends, Dasan Munseon explained and interpreted it in more detail.

This book was very helpful in understanding the situation, culture, and history of politics, economy, and society during the Joseon Dynasty, and is especially famous for emphasizing the importance of Chinese character education. It is also evaluated as an important historical material that gives a glimpse of Jeong Yak-yong's political views, ideas, and literary talents.

Dasan Munseon was not published until the death of Jeong Yak-yong, and the manuscript he wrote was destroyed, and only the estimated version is now handed down. For this reason, some of the contents and interpretations of Dasan Munseon are currently controversial, but they still play an important role in understanding Korea's history, culture, and Jeong Yak-yong's achievements.
