¡Ü Introduction to Chunhyangjeon
"Chunhyangjeon" is one of the most famous and beloved novels written during the Joseon Dynasty. This novel depicts the love story of Yi Mong-ryong, a writer from Goguryeo, and Chun Hyang, a beauty from Yangban, and vividly describes the social structure, morality, and human relations of the Joseon Dynasty.
In "Chunhyangjeon," Chunhyang makes her first love to Lee Mong-ryong and confesses their love to each other, but their love does not eventually come true successfully. Chunhyang ends up not being able to do what she wants after her father's death, and all her open love and sincerity disappears. And Lee Mong-ryong eventually accepts the breakup with Chunhyang and begins a new life after the breakup.
