¡°Cheonbyeon Scenery¡± is a novel written by Park Tae-won, a South Korean writer, and is one of the most famous works in Korean literature. The novel deals with contradictions and conflicts between traditional Korean culture and modern society, and human life and love.

The background of the novel is a small village located on the banks of the Han River. The main character, Lee Jang, is an ordinary village resident who tries to find the meaning and direction of life. However, he becomes increasingly distressed and troubled as he faces social constraints, family pressure, and complexity of human relationships.

When the head of the village looks back on his life, he realizes that the moments with this village have had a great influence on him. And he realizes the true meaning and value of life through human relationships with the villagers.

The novel expresses the perception of Korean traditional culture and human life from a modern perspective and is considered one of the masterpieces of Korean literature.

 famous quote:

"Sky, Wind, Stars and Poems".

The quote comes from a poem by the poet about nature and human interaction, including astronomy, astronomical observation, and organic connection between heaven and earth, and is widely cited in various fields.

Introduction to Park Tae-won:

Park Tae-won (1910–1985) was a South Korean novelist who served as a novelist throughout Japanese colonial era and the Korean War. He wrote Japanese novels as a member of the "Donga Culture and Technology Research Society" active in Japanese colonial era, and after the Korean War, he gained great popularity in the public and educational circles by writing novels mainly in Korean.

Park Tae-won can pick "Starry Night" and "Land" as his representative works. "Starry Night" is a work depicting the suffering and sorrows of Koreans during the Japanese colonial era Dynasty, and tells the story of main characters with Korean status protecting their dignity as humans while suffering oppression and discrimination from Japanese colonial rule. "Toji" is a representative work of Korean traditional farmers' history and culture, and played a major role in examining Korean traditional society and culture. In addition, his works such as "Blue Sky and Sea," "Hull" and "Tree" were loved by many readers.

However, some of Park Tae-won's works were published in Japanese during Japanese colonial era and the Korean War, and some of his works include comparing the poor of Koreans with the superiority of the Japanese because it was a period of Japanese colonial rule and cultural oppression during Japanese colonial era. However, he later wrote works that show the reality of Korea, correcting the prejudice and tyranny that come from these works.
